Practice the Suffixes -s, -ed, -ing

Use these books to practice words with the suffix 's', 'ed' or 'ing' with your child. A suffix is a special ending that is added to word that makes it a new word. 
Example Words: cubs, looked, jumping

Roll & Read: use these word lists to practice reading words with your child. You can have them roll a dice and then read one word or all the words under the number they roll.  You can also play together and take turns rolling and reading words. This is also a great time to ask them questions about what the words mean and teach them new words. You can find an electronic dice roller by scrolling down to the bottom of this page.
